Green Bay Heritage Cabins
are located on the shores of beautiful Bob's Lake, part of the extensive
Rideau River system in Ontario, Canada.
Our cabins were all built
in the late 1950's and provide our Guests with a simple, clean,
comfortable Home-away-from-Home. They all have cold running water,
an inside bathroom and a full kitchen equipped with dishes, pots
and pans, toaster, coffee pot and cooking utensils. You are required
to supply your own bedding and personal things. See our Checklist
to see what you have to bring along. Our clean shower house is centrally
located and has plenty of hot water.
Since 1989, when we became
the Owners of Green Bay Heritage Cabins, we have been upgrading
the cabins while still maintaining the rustic feel and natural surroundings.
For those that relax
with a fishing pole in hand, Bob's Lake is home to Large and Smallmouth
Bass, Northern Pike, Walleye, Perch, Lake Trout and Pan Fish. There
are over 469 miles of shoreline to explore and every type of terrain
imaginable. Most of all, the fishing is good and you can eat whatever
you catch and freeze the rest to take home.
While Green Bay is quietly
surrounded by some of Ontario's most beautiful land and water, we
are only a sort drive away from some terrific sightseeing and shopping
in Westport, Perth, Smiths Falls, Kingston and Ottawa. There are
also some excellent golf courses to further enjoy the great outdoors.
